Zoom Around the Track at Daytona Fun Park

Posted by smpolizzi on August 7, 2014 in Summer, What Else Can I Do in NH | 928 Views

As the name suggests, Daytona Fun Park in Weirs Beach, Laconia features an outstanding go-kart racetrack with new and improved cars for racing enthusiasts. But this is not the only thing that the park has to offer. They have a range of entertaining activities, such as bumper cars and mini golf that are great for the whole family. Weir’s Beach has been a hub for vacationers in the Lakes Region for decades. Daytona Fun Park is one of its best attractions.

What is there to do?

  • Indy-style Go-Karts

These new and improved Indy-style go-karts zip and zoom around a recently renovated track. Race your friends and family around sharp turns and speedy lanes as you fight to prove who is the best (and maybe the worst) driver. Double seated carts accommodate younger children who cannot ride alone but can join an adult. All single riders must be at least 54” tall.

  • Outdoor Adventure High Ropes Course

The Outdoor Adventure High Ropes Course is a large climbing course designed to appeal to the whole family. Get out of your comfort zone and try a rope course that scares you! A full-body safety harness will ensure that participants walk the high wire, rail, rope bridge and more in complete safety! New “ropers” are always welcome as no previous experience is necessary.

  • Bumper Boats

Who doesn’t love bumper boats? Bopping up and down in the water while sailing around squirting friends with a water cannon is the perfect summer activity.

When deciding to ride, just make sure to remember that solitary riders must be at least 44″ tall and passengers (2 total) must be less than 44″ tall.

  • Batting Cages

Swing batter-batter!

Swing batter-batter!

Batting cages have been an American tradition for both practice and play for decades. At Daytona Fun Park, batters can swing away at pitches ranging from the slower 40 mph softball pitch, to the faster 70 mph high-speed baseball pitches. There are five separate cages and helmets and bats are provided if you don’t bring your own.

  • 18 Hole Mini Golf

This fantastic 18-hole mini-golf course has many original and creative structures nestled into the side of a shady hill. This is an ideal activity without any age or height requirements. There is also an 18-hole Championship Miniature Golf Course!

  • Dual Bungee Jumper

This is an awesome activity for those who want to show off their gymnastic or athletic skills high in the air on an enormous trampoline. A double-locking safety harness, cable safety system, and trained attendants will ensure that you will not fall off as you jump as high as you possibly can. The Dual Bungee Jumper provides a great way to exercise for anyone less than 190llbs.

  • JumpShot Basketball

Have you ever wanted to know what it felt like to jump and shoot as high as a professional basketball player? This JumpShot attraction allows you to jump high in the air to make shots you never dreamed before of making. It’s even more fun when you have someone to compete against.
